Jessica Pogni Gopalakrishnan brings over 12 years of marketing experience to HomeGain and its blog.

Raised in a family of entrepreneurs, she began her career in retail marketing with stints at retail chains including JC Penney’s, Neiman Marcus and Jewelry by the Bay. In 1999 Jessica initiated an event marketing business called Social Butterfly Enterprises and worked with various clients including Success Dynamics and the Anchorage Shopping Center. Her next passion became high tech and software marketing, working for Excite, HumanConcepts and Belding Associates where she worked closely with 3COM, Cisco Systems and KPMG. She now heads the marketing department at HomeGain and is involved in branding, PR, events, communications, program development, customer acquisition and retention, and social networking.

Jessica graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. She also received certification for international business from the Collège International de Cannes in France.
