With summertime here, Max decided to hit the surf and cruise around sunny San Diego, California, in a truck that could fit all his surf boards.

By November, when the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Annual Conference is scheduled, Max will be very familiar with the area!

Last week we “officially” celebrated our 10th anniversary by attending an Oakland A’s baseball game.

This year HomeGain received special attention from the Oakland Athletics TV crew! HomeGainers David Kim (in yellow A’s shirt) and Max (orange gorilla in center) were interviewed in front of 13,000+ people live in the stadium. See it here in this video:

Max, the orange HomeGain Gorilla, is taking a spin around the streets of New York. Max is on a Find a Realtor/What’s My Home Worth? tour that encourages New Yorkers to find and compare New York Realtors or to look up home prices on HomeGain’s instant home valuation tool. This is Max’s first motor tour since hitting the streets or San Francisco and Phoenix last year.

Max’s driver, Hoke Wolliz, is handing out free Home Sale Maximizer brochures,  a useful tool for anyone planning to sell their home.

Last October, HomeGain displayed its first seasonal header. It was an animated Halloween header pictured below.

It wasn’t long before Max, the HomeGain Gorilla got into the act.

Max made his debut appearance on a HomeGain header just in time for Thanksgiving last year:

Ever since, all HomeGain seasonal headers have featured Max.

Max, the HomeGain gorilla, fresh back from his trip to India has been resting up by taking long walks along the San Francisco Bay…

…and hanging in the Sierras…

…in anticipation of his second annual “What’s Your Home Worth” /”Find a Realtor” auto tour.

Max will be firing up his Max Mobile and hitting the streets of San Diego and New York loaded cases of with his favorite drink– coconut milk and a half dozen jars of jelly beans.

Max recently took a trip to Kerala, India, to take a break from discussing whether the Obama stimulus package will make a difference for the American housing market in 2009. 

A cool 100 degrees Farenheit, he was thrilled to be in this beautiful “land of coconuts”. He’s traveled the U.S. and visited Paris and Africa but not India before. Keralans, or Malayalees, are so friendly and hospitable.

While taking a boat ride in the backwaters near Allepey, the boat pulled over to cut down fresh bananas, pineapples, and, his favorite, coconuts.

They even let him drive the boat, which is made entirely out of coconut trees! 

Surprisingly, he could get an internet connection and cell phone reception out in the middle of all these coconut trees and water. He knew HomeGain had launched a new survey and couldn’t believe all the news coverage it was getting!

Max had to get back to the U.S. anyways for the upcoming Ask the Experts real estate forum and he’s hitting the road again in a fleet of “Maxmobiles”, this time in New York City and San Diego, CA.

He also can’t wait for a sneak peek at HomeGain’s August 3rd Live Nation event in San Francisco — stay tuned!
