Max Back On Track

Max Motor Tour Resumes in Phoenix and San Francisco

Max has been hitting the road hard since returning from taking his first vacation as HomeGain spokes-gorilla. “I barely had time to enjoy my new home when I felt the marketing road calling,” said Max.

Max was recently spotted resuming his What’s Your Home Worth motor tour in San Francisco, CA and outside Phoenix, AZ with his driver, Hoke Wolliz.

“The San Francisco part of our trip was hectic as Max is a bit of a local idol and we did more parking than driving to give the fans time to take pictures of Max and get paw prints,” said Wolliz. “Once we hit the open road in Arizona, we had some time to relax and Max was able to kick back and enjoy some jelly beans and coconut milk.”

“Max remains unaware of HomeGain’s product release schedule,” said Louis Cammarosano, General Manager of HomeGain.

“While Max took the announcement that HomeGain was offering blogs to its Source4Sellers customers in stride, he did not react so well to the prior product announcement that HomeGain was allowing agents to post their profiles on HomeGain.com. “We’ve got another major announcement coming up and its probably best that Max stay on the road.”

Eric Pakulla Team Mingles with Max

Max definitely needs to “relax” because we have been busy – on both the buying and selling side here in Maryland. Things are also picking up with summertime quickly approaching.

Although our market has been down in terms of prices, many of our listings have recently sold. This means we need to get even busier and find more homes to list.

One of our biggest issues with home sellers is price. I have to work quite a bit with them to list their home at the correct price. They aren’t too happy about the idea at first, but when they see their home sell and other homes listed around the same time not sell or sit on the market with a “Reduced Price” For Sale sign, they understand my strategy and appreciate my advice.

We have invited Max to our HCAR (Howard County Association of Realtors) Casino Night and participate in the “Realtor Idol” Contest. We hope he’ll have time in his busy schedule. My strong Team and my Broker at RE/MAX Advantage Realty—who was just named Broker of the Year—will all be attending. read more

MAX Returns Home

Takes up Residence in New Home Built By HomeGain Employees

Max, the HomeGain Gorilla, returned home today from an extended trip where he was visiting distant relatives in the volcano national park in Rwanda. Late last month, Max’s motor tour was interrupted and he was shuttled out of the country as a precautionary health measure to ensure he would not have a repeat episode of the severe reaction he had when HomeGain announced the launch of Agent Profiles. When Max learned of the agent profile feature and the attendant media frenzy, Max suffered heart palpitations and fell out of his tree.

HomeGain General Manager, Louis Cammarosano, stated, “Upon his return to Emeryville, Max was informed of the news of the launch of the HomeGain Agent Blogging Network under the supervision of his personal veterinarian, Dr. Wolliz.” Max appeared to take the news of the HomeGain Agent Blogging Network launch in stride commenting “I am not surprised at all, I’ve come to expect immense innovation from HomeGain. Please pass the jelly beans.”

Max was also informed that the HomeGain employees had built Max a house to specifications he had submitted in an AgentEvaluator proposal. Upon seeing his dream home that read more

Use HomeGain To Blog

HomeGain Launches the HomeGain Agent Blogging Network

Back in February, Brian Brady famously asked whether real estate agents should use HomeGain or blog.

We can file that one under no longer relevant questions.

Starting today, HomeGain real estate agents can now use HomeGain to blog!

Early this morning we launched a free consumer-facing blogging service for our hundreds of Source4Sellers customers.

The free, bundled Agent Blogs form a part of the HomeGain Blog and are also accessible through HomeGain’s free instant home valuation tool and from HomeGain.com.

HomeGain Source4Sellers agents Profiles and Blogs are featured exclusively in an ad-free environment.

Louis Cammarosano, General Manager of HomeGain, said of the announcement, “The Case Against Blogging has been settled out of court. We have learned through our own efforts that blogging can be a useful marketing tool.”

“Since the success of our agent customers is HomeGain’s mission, we wish to provide them with blogs of their own to supplement the visitors, phone calls, emails and leads that we send them,” Louis continued. “The Agent Blogs offer Source4Sellers real estate agents yet another contact point with potential home buyers and sellers and further lessens the reliance on the lead form as a way of attracting potential prospects.”

Max, the (sub) human face of HomeGain is on a safari holiday in the Volcano National Park in Rwanda visiting distant relatives.

“After what happened when we announced Agent Profiles,” continued Cammarosano, “we decided to play it safe. On the advice of Max’s personal veterinarian, Dr. Wolliz, we arranged to interrupt Max’s motor tour and to send him out of the country. We intend to notify Max of the creation of the HomeGain Agent Blogging Network when he returns, but only while under the observation of Dr. Wolliz.”

In the coming months we will be adding syndicated content to supplement our real estate agents’ blogging efforts.

Real estate professionals interested in joining the HomeGain Agent Blogging Network can claim their Agent Blog by clicking on the “Get Max Results” image to the right under “Product Spotlight”. read more
