Another Realtor® Added to HomeGain’s Million Dollar Club

We’re pleased to announce that Alan Shafran, Realtor® with Prudential California Realty, has reached the one million dollar mark in gross lifetime commissions with HomeGain’s AgentEvaluator® program!

Alan is the second real estate agent to be inducted into the HomeGain Million Dollar Club. Eric Pakulla of RE/MAX Advantage Realty in Maryland was the first AgentEvaluator member to reach the one million dollar mark in 2007.

“We are pleased that Alan and other Realtors are finding tremendous success with AgentEvaluator,” stated Louis Cammarosano, General Manager at HomeGain. ”Each quarter we add dozens of new members to the AgentEvaluator Silver Club ($50,000 in gross commissions from HomeGain leads), Gold Club ($75,000 in gross commissions) and Platinum Club ($125,000 in gross commissions) which now top 200, 250 and 300 members, respectively.”

“HomeGain has been instrumental to building my online business,” stated Alan Shafran. “AgentEvaluator consistently puts me in touch with home buyers and sellers in my area. HomeGain is the secret sauce to growing my client list, to closing 20 percent additional homes per year, and to making me one of the top Realtors® in the U.S.”

“The success of HomeGain members in these challenging times highlights the quality of Realtors in our network and the efficacy of our programs,” continued Louis Cammarosano. “Unlike our competitors who incessantly tout their traffic statistics, we choose instead to highlight the success of our real estate agents.”

HomeGain Launches Redesign of Web Site

Last night we launched a new design of our web site.

The new HomeGain.com  makes it easier for visitors to find real estate information and to connect with local Realtors quickly.

We’ve made the agent blogs, agent profiles and  agent listings more accessible with direct links to these sections from HomeGain.com.

Also available directly from HomeGain.com is our instant home values tool and the popular Home Sale Maximizer tool that helps home sellers determine which home improvement will provide the best return on investment.

Visitors to HomeGain.com can also find and compare Realtors with our Agent Evaluator product and can search MLS listings in the View Homes For Sale section.

Please take a look and let us know what you think.

References Attract Clients

This month’s featured real estate agent in our Agent Success Newsletter is Sharon Detrick or RE/MAX Suburban Northwest in Houston, TX.

Here’s the feature story:

In less than five months this year, Sharon has already closed 5 home deals with AgentEvaluator homebuyers compared with two deals in 2007.

Why the difference?

After adding in references to her proposals that she sends to potential clients, she’s been experiencing a higher response and interest level from those consumers in her services.

Although it varies year to year (she’s been a HomeGain AgentEvaluator member since 1999) she’s definitely seen an increase since having added the references.

“I was hesitant to add in references because I didn’t see the value,” stated Sharon. “Obviously nobody is going to put in a negative reference, but apparently consumers really do want to see what others say about you – and know that real live people have had positive experiences with you as their agent.” Continue reading this post

HomeGain First Quarter 2008 Home Sales Report by MSA - Part II

Last week, I posted an article in which we named the Top Ten MSA’s in the country where HomeGain buyers and sellers transacted in the First Quarter of 2008.

I included feedback on current market conditions in the Top Five areas from our top performing agents who closed those sales. Now, here is the latest information on the MSA’s ranked 6 through 10.

Again, a common theme among our member agents to working successfully in challenging markets is to educate our clients and, as Heidi Mueller says, to “manage expectations of the home sellers and buyers.”

Please feel free to join in and post comments about your local market conditions.
And the cities are… Continue reading this post
