On December 30th Google updated its page rankings. According to Google “pages that we believe are important pages receive a higher Page Rank and are more likely to appear at the top of the search rankings“.
Google last updated its page rankings in February of 2008. Since then HomeGain launched the HomeGain Agent Blogging Network. In the latest Google page rank update, many HomeGain AgentView blogs scored page ranks of three and four! HomeGain AgentView blogs are also appearing at the top of Google search results for the key words “[city name] real estate blog”
The HomeGain Agent Blogging Network provides each AgentView subscriber with a blog, along with a place to post their profiles and listings in an exclusive and advertising free environment. Upon launch of the HomeGain Agent Blogging Network, many were skeptical “Why pay for a blogging platform when you can set up your own word press blog for free?” The answer is page rank and higher placement in the search engine results pages (SERPs) and built in traffic from your instant home values tool.
AgentView subscribers blogging on the HomeGain Agent Blogging Network benefit from HomeGain’s and the HomeGain Real Estate Blog’s high Google page ranking.
Here are a few examples of some highly ranked HomeGain AgentView blogs:
Cortiers Luxury Realty - Google Page Rank 4
Century 21 Watson – Google Page Rank 4
Skyline Properties, Inc. – Google Page Rank 3
Tropical Realty of Suntree - Google Page Rank 3
Remax Suburban -Google Page Rank 3
The fantastic aspect of the success of the HomeGain AgentView blogs is that they are relatively new, with many of the blogs being in operation just three to six months.

Great news for AgentView blogs and Homegain. They’re on an authority domain; that alone increases their publishing power and makes success easier. I’m sure the blogs above will continue to increase rankings (and PageRank) if they remain active and continue to provide great content.

That’s great that those blogs are getting high PR. But high PR doesn’t always equal high Search Engine Results Pages (serps) rankings and traffic. What kind of actual rankings in the Serps and search engine traffic are these blogs getting?

Congratulations on the PageRanks. My only comment would be to not get too hung up on PR. When my site had a PR of 4 it was showing up lower on Search Results for many keywords then it does now when it is only a PR of 2. I will get back to 4 in the next couple of months but it is interesting how the SERPS do not always reflect the site’s PR. I have found that if one works on trying to provide the best content for the consumer, everything else will fall into place.

I understand blogs do take sometime to grow and can take months of work to do, but over time it is well worth it and i also agree that understanding pagerank and how it does work can be quite tedious sometimes when going to different sites because they can vary, and i agree when finding the right tool that works, a person should stick with using it.

Congratulations on the success on PageRank. It only shows that when a blog provides good and quality information, Google will surely love it and will award them with good PR. Content once again proves to be the king.

I must be agree on what “google local searches” posted as there is not a better way of attaining high rankings than by adding rich, optimized content
